In this course you will learn about the three areas of difference related to autism and how these present in children. We will look at how these differences may act as a barrier to accessing play and learning as well as some reasonable adjustments you can start to implement to remove these barriers. We've got a suggestion for reflecting on your practice, ideas for your settings, and as usual we'll ask you how confident you're feeling before and after engaging with this learning. By the end of this course you will be able to recognise the differences associated with autism in young children, understand how they may affect the child and be confident in supporting them.
Accessing your training
